How to make cinnamon and sugar crescent roll witch hats
To make these witch hats, all you need is a tube of refrigerated crescent rolls, butter, cinnamon, and sugar. That's it for the ingredients. You'll also need a baking sheet and some parchment paper.
Combine softened butter, cinnamon, and sugar on a bowl. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Then place the crescent rolls on the parchment and brush them with some of the butter, cinnamon, and sugar mixture.
Roll up the bottom flat part of the crescent about 2-3 times, folding in the left pointy edge, to create the brim of the hat.
When you are finished, brush the brim with some of the butter mixture, too. Then repeat this process with all eight of the crescent rolls. Leave some space between each one on the baking sheet.
Another thing you can do is to make a little bend in the top of the hat if you want as shown in the photo above. This is optional, or you can do this with some and then leave some pointed straight up.
Then you simply bake them in the oven, and then let them cool for a minute. Then they are ready to eat and enjoy.
Each witch hat will look slightly different. As always, please don't worry about them looking perfectly. These are recipes for fun and enjoyment. They are to add some Halloween to your breakfast or mid-morning snack.
One of my kids insisted on helping me with these ones, and this simple recipe is great for getting kids into the kitchen to help. They had a lot of fun making these witch hats!
Give these cinnamon and sugar crescent roll witch hats a try this Halloween season. They are terrific for kids, or for anyone who just loves Halloween time.
These hats are also perfect for any witch or wizard themed meal or party. They can be a witch hat, but also a wizard hat. They'd be super for a Harry Potter themed party or dinner, too.
